What is the keto diet?

The keto diet is a diet that consists of high fat, moderate protein, and low carbs. It is designed to help your body to burn fat instead of sugar or glucose. Have you transition from sugar burning or glucose burning into fat burning, the body will need certain supplements or nutrients to create a smooth transition and prevent any injury to the body. Also on the Keto Diet, it is very important that you are consuming seven to 10 cups of vegetables each day. If you’re on the Keto Diet and you are eating more fat and not enough vegetables, that is going to create a deficiency in your body and you will experience hair loss. Have you transition from burning fat to burning sugar you’ll also need supplements like vitamin B in the form of yeast. You’ll need electrolytes and you’ll also need wheatgrass. All the green leafy vegetables are what you will need to transition. If you’re not getting the correct supplements and nutrients have you transition, then that will cause a hair loss problem among other things.

He has a host of different videos which also goes into teaching you the correct supplements and nutrients that you will need as you transition into this diet.

Low Carb Diet & Hair Loss

If you are on a low carb diet, will this cause you to lose hair? The keto diet is a low carb diet which can cause hair loss is the correct steps are not followed that allows the body to transition into fat burning and away from sugar or glucose burning. A lot of people go on the keto diet because they liked the idea of eating high fat and so they eat high fat, but they’re not eating enough vegetables or getting enough supplements and that can lead to hair loss The purpose of the fat on the keto diet is to have you transition from one meal to the next without snacking to keep you fuller longer and to cause the body to burn fat and not sugar. You want to make sure you are getting enough vegetables as well. Dr. Berg recommends that you get seven to 10 cups of vegetables each day.Your Diet should look like 70 percent fat, 20 to 25 percent protein, and the rest would be carbs. However, your fats would consist of avocados, nuts, grass-fed fatty meats, as well as fatty fish such as Salmon. You also have to make sure that you are supplementing with electrolytes. We lose electrolytes every day as we sweat and lose water from our body, so we need a supplement with electrolyte and we also have to do vitamin B in the form of yeast and you also have to learn your body type so you’ll know you’re eating towards your body type. Dr. Berg offers a quiz online that goes into different body types and how to recognize what your body type is and how to eat for that body type.

Why do you lose your hair when you lose weight On Keto?

This is going to depend on what condition your hair was in before you started the Ketogenic Diet. In other words, did you have any preexisting conditions before you started the Keto Diet? Did you have any sickness and illness? Are you on any medication? If you are on medication that was already causing hair loss and you started the keto diet and you’re not doing the correct supplements and vitamins, then that’s going to cause your hair loss. .Also if your hair was already weakened or in bad condition and you are starting the keto diet and you’re not doing your supplements. That will also cause you to lose hair. Were you on any hair treatment program before starting the Keto diet? What was your salon visits like? Did you have chemically damaged hair? All this plays a role as well as if you are not getting enough calories per day based on your body type. We are so conditioned that most of the time when most people are going on a diet including myself, we tend to go with more low fat, every little everything, low carbs with a less calorie thinking we would lose more weight. Not necessarily. You have to get your seven to 10 cups of vegetables each day and you’re not counting the calorie from the vegetables. On the keto diet, vegetable calories do not count as long as it is cruciferous vegetables or green leafy vegetables. Those calories do not count. So if your counting those colors and you are eating other things, then you might be deficient in your calorie intake, and if you are deficient in your calorie intake, then that will cause you also to lose hair.

High Protein Diet Hair Loss

If you are on a high protein diet, does that cause me to lose hair? The keto is not a high protein diet. The Atkins diet is a high protein diet and there’s a difference between the two. If you’re taking in high protein and your body is not processing it because you’re taking in too much of it, then that can create the hair loss problem. If you are on the Atkins Diet and doing high protein and you’re not doing enough vitamins and minerals to supplement your diet, that could cause hair loss. When you take too much protein in, that also causes your body to burn sugar not fat, which is completely opposite of what the keto dies is supposed to be doing. So you definitely want to watch that.

Why does your hair fall out when you lose weight?

On the keto diet again, it’s the supplements, supplements, supplements, supplements. You have to take a lot of supplements in order for your body to transition without any hair loss. Remember, for years you have been on a diet where your body was basically burning sugar and glucose, and now you’re making it more efficient by causing it to burn more fat. You are also healing your body, so as your body goes through the healing process, you might also lose hair because again, it depends upon what condition your hair was in before you started the Diet and if you’re taking supplements and also are you on any kind of medication? If you’re on medication and the medication is predisposed to you losing hair, and as your body goes into this transition, it might even make you lose even more hair. Another thing is are you taking in enough calories? Are you getting enough calorie on the keto diet? There’s something called a macro calculator. The macro calculator calculates how much protein, fat, and carbs you need for that day in order for you to achieve your goals and keep you in a ketosis state. It is very important for you to know what your macros are, that is the only way you can make sure that you are getting the correct nutrients.

Why does your hair fall out when you lose weight on the Keto Diet?

Your hair may fall out on the keto diet because it depends upon the condition of your hair and body before starting the diet. This may sound very repetitive but it’s important that we made the point. It’s just like if you started keto diets and you had an illness. You’d have to see how that works with that illness. has your body transition. Your body is going to eventually heal the illness, but it has to transition into that, and so has it transition we need different minerals and elements that are going to help us to transition into a newer healed body. Also, if you had weak hair or damaged hair if your hair was breaking before or if you were on a certain medication before, as you transition, that’s going to also affect your hair loss.

Do I have hair Loss Due To A Change In My Diet?

The simple answer is Yes, you could have hair loss because of a diet change because you’re changing the way you eat and if you’re not supplementing as you transition, then that can cause hair loss. I think the biggest problem really is getting the seven to 10 cups of vegetables. That’s the major problem. If you’re not getting your seven to 10 cups of vegetables then that’s going to cause a problem.

How about intermediate fasting?

As part of the ketogenetic diet, there’s something called intermediate fasting. What is intermediate fasting? That is where you are fasting in between meals. As you get started on the Keto Diet, you’re going to be doing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You would probably not be doing snacks. The time between breakfast and lunch with no snacks, that’s called intermittent fasting and then from lunch to dinner with no snacks. that is also intermediate fast, and that’s one of the reasons why you would be doing seventy percent fat on this diet. The purpose of the fat is to help you transition from breakfast to lunch without snacking in between. The fat keeps you fuller longer. The body burns fat slower, so fat stays in the body longer to make you less hungry. As you are fasting or as you are doing intermittent fasting, you want to make sure you have enough calorie that’s going to take you from breakfast to lunch without snacking in between and from lunch to dinner, without snacking in between. As you become more fat adapted, and your body gets more into burning fat and not sugar, you will be able to fast for longer periods of time without feeling hunger. At that point, you may skip breakfast and then you might do lunch and then dinner, so in the morning you eat nothing, which would be intermittent fasting between breakfast and lunch. After eating lunch, you would also be intermittent fasting between lunch and dinner, which mean you’re not eating any snacks in between that. Intermittent fasting as a lot of healing properties, and again you can check out Dr. Berg’s website. He specializes in the Diet and he has more to say on that. He wrote a book entitled “The New Body Type Guide”, In this book, he goes into how to do proper intermittent fasting and eventually a full fast.. Intermittent fasting also stops hair loss and heals the body according to Dr. Berg.

I need to eat seven to ten cups of these vegetables each day for my body to function correctly while on the keto diet and to prevent hair loss among other supplements. That’s my body type. I also do wheat grass and electrolytes purchased on Amazon from Dr. Berg. You want to make sure you are doing those things to prevent hair loss.A good vitamin supplement is very important as well. If your body was deficient, to begin with, and you are starting the keto diet and it’s deficient in vitamins and minerals and then you are trying to transition it from sugar to fat, you would definitely want to make sure you are getting the required vegetables and taking supplements. Knowing your body type is very important and will determine what you need to eat. Knowing your macros and the supplements you’ll need as you transition over from burning sugar to fat will help to prevent hair loss. Family history is also important. You may be predisposed to certain illness and sickness. If you’re insulin resistant, your body’s going to react differently when you’re trying to transition it from sugar and glucose into fat burning because that’s all it knew so it takes time to adapt. So during the adaption period, you want to make sure you’re getting enough minerals and vitamins.
